The Details

Artist Notes

This painting was commissioned by a client who asked me to paint a taverna her mother had been going to since she was a child. It used to be called Mitsos Taverna although the name has since changed to Almyra. I was sent a variety of old photographs with the previous signage and I created a sketch for her to approve before creating the painting in watercolour and inks. The painting was presented as a surprise Christmas gift in 2025.

    The 1 of 1 original hand painted and signed painting.

  • Limited Edition

    My limited editions are limited to 100 of each size (A2,A1) that will ever be sold. Each limited edition comes hand signed and numbered. Limited editions also come on a high quality 310GSM paper.

  • Open Edition

    My A3 size open editions are half the size of my limited editions and will not be signed or numbered. They are printed on 300GSM paper. Open editions are not limited to a set number of prints and therefore do not hold the same value as a limited edition print.
